1/15/2026: CCLQ at DeeDee’s

The Cherry Creek Lane Quilters met at DeeDee’s on Jan. 15th. Some folks have already finished their UFO challenge for January!

Cheryl made a pot luck dish caddy using beautiful bird fabric.  She cut two 22 inch squares, cut 4 inch pieces for the handles.  She added batting and used the pillow case method to finish.

Ruth S finished this marvelous modern quilt top for a wedding gift. Congratulations to Ruth for making her first modern quilt!

Maggie made a fun bag for our Sew Saturday.  She will be glad to share the pattern.

Maggie also made a lovely pot luck dish carrier…also can be used to carry quilts!

Maggie quilted these sweet donation quilts for her friend Julie.

Julie used a disappearing nine patch pattern.

Carol made this fun donation quilt from blocks given to her by Maggie.

Carol also made this colorful scrappy donation quilt.

Joy added the binding to her “Breathe” challenge quilt.

Drum roll please!  Britt finished the quilting on her amazing triangle quilt. This was Britt’s UFO finish for January.

Britt plans to add a binding with orange piping.

Gayle made a blue jean trail tote bag.  She is also working on a top out of Kantha cloth.

Britt gave Gayle some of the gray chambray fabric for making another trail tote.

Deborah purchased a new pattern called “Lucy” and made consider using it with the snow dyed fabric.

Deborah finished her January UFO…a pillow with Jacquie Gering quilt design.

DeeDee finished this lovely floral appliqué as her January UFO.

DeeDee found this cross stitch table cloth and maybe will make a jacket out of it.

DeeDee created this lovely heart baby quilt top.

“Quilting spreads love, hope, dreams, and happiness. So get out there and grab some fabric, roll up your sleeves and create something that is beautiful and meaningful!”
