5/22/25 CCLQ @ Lynda's

Welcome to the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters weekly meeting where the Bee's are buzzing around the blooms in Lynda's wonderful garden.

Deedee's show was on her phone.  She is working on some rail blocks and a pillow in pink and florals

Deborah has a tote finished and almost ready for gifting.  The quilting before construction was a bit problematic with the bulk of the french seams.  The the end result is striking the solids go so well with the focus fabric.

Maggie has the 3rd and final black-n-white eye spy donation done.

Gayle completed the black-n-brown Dad's quilt in time for the Fellowship meeting so that the whole Family could receive their personalized quilts.

Linda has the 18" blocks together and is very happy with the decision to stop at 12 and not the original plan of 20 blocks.

Lynda's big show was a grand tour of the gardens.  She is going to be quilting this coming holiday weekend so we hope to see the results next week.

That's all the buzz for this week.

5/15/25: CCLQ at Deborah’s

Welcome to the weekly post of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week the quilters met at Deborah’s home.  Enjoy the wonderful photos of quilts and more! Today was Lynda’s birthday so we celebrated with singing and cake!

Happy Birthday Lynda!

One of Cheryl’s friends gave her a box of UFO’s (unfinished objects.)
Here’s one block of a double wedding ring quilt.  The box had other pieces of the DWR ready to piece together.

Another future quilt to be from the UFO box.

Two Snail Trail blocks were in the UFO box.

Lynda shared this beautiful peacock quilt kit.
