3/6/25: CCLQ at Gayle’s

 Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week quilters met at Gayle’s home.  We had a nice big group with lots of fun show and tell. 

Cheryl is using this Modern Quilt Block Book for her purple quilt. Cheryl reported that Steve liked the brown and orange quilt and it’s now “his” quilt. 

Carol reported her sewing machine is in the shop. She’s been going through her stash and found 40 log cabin blocks.  Stay tuned to see what Carol creates next. 

Carol wore fun crafty socks today! 

Linda reported that she gave the purple quilt to her hairdresser. 

Candy and Ruth S went to Cary Quilting and Candy purchased this brilliant blue.  

Candy found the perfect pattern for Ella.

Candy shared this beautiful Josephine’s Knot quilt. 

Ruth S  finished this lovely donation quilt.

Ruth found these dog prints in her stash and created some cute blocks for a new quilt. Ruth reported she’s looking for paw print fabric for the back.  Linda H has some paw print fabric to share with Ruth.

Gayle is making quilts for the children in her Fellowship Group. She found some wonderful panels for these quilts. 

Maggie created this wonderful quilt with fabrics from her stash. The pattern is Flagstone. 

This will be the border fabric. 

Maggie shared this wonderful quilt that she made for her families’ lake house. The house is being sold so the quilt returned to her. 

Maggie gave the lake quilt to Ruth to take to The Bluff! 

Deborah made this after quilt with fabrics left over from the Storm at Sea Quilt.

DeeDee is making a NICU quilt using adorable fabric.
