5/29/25: CCLQ at Cheryl’s

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week the group met at Cheryl K’s home.

Cheryl’s beautiful tree quilt is displayed in her kitchen!

Maggie finished her marvelous Mondo Bag.  The inside has several pockets and hooks for keys.

Maggie sewed this beautiful scrappy bunk bed quilt. The tiny nine patch blocks and the one inch block border really make this quilt sizzle!

Maggie purchased a quilt kit at the DOQ silent auction. She completed this adorable “Twelve Days of Froggy’s Christmas” quilt.

Lynda finished this beautiful Peacock quilt.

Ella showed these nifty nautical flag banners, one for each grandson.

Linda H completed the stunning purple quilt top.  Linda is also working on the more complicated aqua and purple blocks for the next quilt.

Joy made this lovely Rainbow Scrap challenge quilt. The color for this month was green and the challenge was “fresh cut grass.”

Deborah brought Maggie this village panel with roads that will be perfect for Match Box cars.

Gayle completed this race track quilt for a little one in the Fellowship Group.

Ruth B enjoyed the fun and discussed her upcoming plans.

Cheryl finished the new quilt for her grandson.

This is the back view so the group decided it was a reversible quilt.

Cheryl also shared this amazing king size Josephine’s Knot quilt which she made for a friend.

Britt did an excellent job of quilting this one!

DeeDee used some of her floral fabric to begin making a headband for a hat.

DeeDee also shared this wonderful scrappy donation quilt. She plans to add four more rows.

Candy is back from traveling and has started working on the green quilt challenge from Maggie.

Until next time, happy quilting!
