10/29 - NT Nights @ Passmore Center

Welcome to the Late October meeting of the Nimble Thimbles meeting!!  Five Six Seven members and one guest were in attendance this evening.  We were greeted by a Quilt Show of sorts.  The Tuesday Group's donation quilters have hung quilts for the Holiday Market.

You will have to scroll down to see those.  For some reason, the photos uploaded in reverse order and I don't have the energy to correct them.

SEW...

If YOU were there, you may not recall the meeting unfolding in quite this way.

Cheryl B. (who arrived just as we were getting ready to leave - Sorry!  I didn't even get a picture of her) told her client about our Evening Quilt Bee...

Dawn (the client) showed up and got right to work on the binding of the quilt Cheryl B. recently quilted:

Victoria brought her latest quilt for Cheryl B. to quilt:

Kirsten chatted as she knit:

Carol "pinked" the edges of brightly colored fabric strips for some birthday party decorations:

Joy opted to bring her computer for a chance to get some work done on the Bee's blog:

Stephanie did a bit of lap quilting:

Carol did a bit of cutting:

Joanna made an iron caddy.

This is a Rowenta travel iron...how cool!
Joanna has another beautiful Stonehenge fabric quilt ready to go on the long arm.
Joanna painted concentric circles on the fabric for the Chuppah for her grand daughter's wedding.

Cheryl K was glad to be home from her travels to Italy and had a wonderful trip.
Quilt As You Go Go Maggie has created another stunning quilt for her son's roommate!
The back of the Quilt As You Go quilt creates a secondary quilt!

Carol found this shark batik fabric at Pineapple fabrics and will make a quilt for her grandson who loves sharks.

Jean shared this cute Willie bag.  Willie is Jean's Bedlington Terrier.  The company misspelled Bedlington, but corrected it will send a new bag with the correct spelling.

Below, Jean shared a charming quilt for her cousin's grand baby.
Jean embellished the quilt by adding sweet embroidered roses.  By the way...the baby's name is Rose.

Jean plans to use this heart pattern to help a guest at Family House make a baby quilt.
Lynda shared copies of Maggie's table runner pattern.  Lynda reported that she continues to work on the Sue Spargo quilt. Britt made this awesome bag for Lynda.
Deborah finished the baby quilt for her niece.

Until next time, bee with friends and quilt!
