Show and Tell...
Gayle was anxious to share her Pineapple purchase, so sent an email ahead of the meeting:
Getting there...
... Was a bit of a nightmare (in hazy daylight!)
Live and in person...
There really WAS a road in front of me (I stopped to take the photo) and NONE of that water is supposed to be on either side of the road (even though a closer look at the photo below would have you believe that there's a raging river off to the left!)
Once we all swam to Ella's door and got settled, Show and Tell began in earnest...
Joy started us off with her SECU Table Topper:
Britt brought handwork...
... And the Table Topper that she made for the upcoming SECU Family House event:
Joy also brought along her recently completed On Ringo Pond wall hanging made from Bonnie Hunters 2017 Mystery:
Ella hit the jackpot at the Pineapple SALE!!! She spent only $70 on ALL of the fabrics shown in the photo below:
Those present got another (closer) look at Gayle's Pineapple purchase. She's thinking Baby Girl quilts and the pinks were Buy 1, Get 1 FREE, so how could she resist these sweet prints:
Also, some striped prints for bindings, perhaps...
... And a few other pieces of inexpensive (very usable) yardage:
Gayle has nearly completed her "Ella" Donation quilt made with fabrics from Ella's stash:
She changed up the pattern a bit:
It's shown here with Ella's on version of the pattern that Joanna figured out for us all:
Gayle also had a TELL - They've got a contract on the old house!!! The buyer wants to used the property for a Spa Resort.
Britt shared a progress photo of this year's Wildflower of the Year quilt for the North Carolina Botanical Garden:
Lynda shared her newest Kaffe book that she found on Amazon for $18, all because Gayle sent an instagram photo of this quilt:

Lynda had a TELL - She is close to finishing the first panel of her Sue Spargo quilt and is starting on the second one.
Hmm... I wonder if this is Ella's next quilt:

Dee Dee started these Artist Trading Cards on baby wipes and dryer sheets. Some have Peltex as a base. One even used "starter/stoppers" that were found under her sewing table on a recent clean-up! They were glued down and stitched over. Such darling little mini quilts:
She also used some flamingo fabric to make an Eyeglass Case:
Dee Dee brought a sample of her Giant Tulip block for a donation quilt for a teen girl:
Linda had a TELL - She needs to put the binding on a baby quilt and needs to finish her SECU Table Topper.
Here she is smiling, even though she's going in for a bit of surgery in a week:
Barry is a quilter, but Ella won't let him join our group:
Candy shared her completed Blooming 9-Patch quilt:
Ruth B. shared her SECU Table Topper:
