Welcome to the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters. This Tursday Candy hosted 6 quilters who had more tell then show before the rain.
Deedee told us of her latest trip south and had her bag brimming with fabric gold.
First up were some background yardage she got in Lowel - at Sew Much Fun
Next were some thrift store finds that were such bargains had us all wishing we had traveled with her.
finally she showed us some antiuqe blocks that a friend has asked her to make a quilt.
Britt and Lynda were happy to be there and talked about current projects but we have to wait for photos. Question to the group was if we wanted to continue to include photo's in the blog of members with no current show?
Cheryl showed us a chrocheted coaster that was gift from a Neighbor's visting 9 year old Rusian boy. And she is completely fininshed on her 2nd purple quilt with blocks from the Tula Pink's 100 Modern Quilt Blocks book
Candy isn't doing too much sewing now but is rather doing Showings for her home that is on the market. She did share some of her Seagrove Pottery and is planning on doing another "double braid" runner next similar to the 2 block wall hanging above the TV.
Candy got a laugh when she found this tissue box that has the colorwheel on the sides.
Maggie has the binding done on this Irish Chain donation. And shared a few of the fabrics she got on a Day trip to Fancy Gap Va at the Pottery and Fabric Outlet.
That's All for this week!
