10/2/25 CCLQ @ Britt's

Welcome

This week 6 of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters met at Britt's home and shared some quilting both small and large.

Candy has her 2024 Round Robin Blocks made into Placemat's that are being donated to the Passmore Tuesday Quilters for the Holiday Market Sale on Nov 22nd from 9am to 2pm.

Candy plans to use this pattern that Linda purchased a few weeks ago to finish the double braid she brought to share and get ideas.

And Candy like Gayle's current project and also got the Pattern ... can't wait to see what her colors will be.

Cheryl is standing tall in front of her latest Josephine's Knot quilt that she had to super-size for her friends custom fit.

Brit is very happy with the quilting motif having run it as a vertical design versus the usual horizontal swirls.  The thread color works so well on the back.

Deborah's Carpenter Star now has the final border and boy oh boy is it striking.

Gayle's got the blues (not what you think) and is very happy about having this framed rail fence blocks all done.

Gayle's got a follow up design in her future.

Britt found a pattern in one of her own books to use up box full of left over gorgeous colors.

Britt continues to work on this half square on point scrappy top that brings sunshine to all who see it.

Maggie finished another of the Sew Lux Pouch Club designs.  This time it was using a mini tumbler ruler and mini charm pack.

A little more experimenting with decorative stitches.

Maggie also made a "Pass the Dish"  9x13 casserole cozy.  Having used the Soft and Stable foam batting/stabilizer in the pouches was the incentive to tackle this cozy that used both foam and insul bright.

That's all for this week.

Quote of the meeting was "element of surprise" ... bad note taking because I don't recall what the surprise was.
Let's see what next week brings ... that's always a surprise.
