10/9/25 CCLQ @ Cheryl's

Welcome to the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.   Cheryl was our host and we were a small but mighty group of quilters.

Maggie went first because she really wanted to show the group something and see if they knew what it was.  Can you figure it out ...

It is a vintage Pin It Skirt Marker 7-20"
not so rare search on ebay has 400 results.
How to use it video on Youtube from National Sewing Circle here.

Maggie quilted and bound one of Ella's holiday toppers it will be going to the Passmore Holiday Market.

Gayle has got a new quilt design in the works and could it be yes I believe it is fosil fern fabrics.

Candy continues to settle in to the new sewing room but we will have to wait for the next show of what's in progress.

Britt had some electronic shows.  The wedding quilt pattern has been selected from a design that will take some time to decipher since it was a concept book not exact instructions.  It is sure to be a show stopper.  And after last weeks meeting where a few of us reviewed the quilting room she found another cubbie of the same style and positioned it on top of the other to gain valuable storage space.

These are not the couples colors but the design looks so delicate.

Cheryl finished off a donation quilt of blues.

Thats all for this week.

Quote of the week how "husbands can help".  The air quotes that were issued by the teller just made the story.
