Ruth has a lovely display of antique quilts on her balcony!
More beautiful quilts.

Maggie showed some blocks from the quilt she started for her son’s wedding quilt.  They may use this quilt as a signature quilt . Good news from the Senior Center Craft Show…Maggie’s Christmas quilt sold!

Here’s the pattern for the wedding quilt.

11/10/2022 CCLQ @ Maggie's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.

Gayle showed some wonderful appliqued child size quilts.  She is hoping to donate to the UNC children's hospital for display.   These pictures just don't capture how cute they really are.  She also shared her Pineapple fabric purchases.

Ruth is reverse sewing the binding because the white bobbin thread just didn't look good.

Deborah is continuing to work on the Kawandi method to make a placemat.

Ella is having fun with Gayle working on a bicycle quilt and she shared her fabric purchases from Pineapple.

Cheryl has completed a number of painted bird blocks that she will put outside on the garden shed.

Candy has picked back a crochet hook and is proceeding to finish some blocks that were started years ago.  Can't wait to see how the blocks will go together.

Lynda showed a wonderful layer cake and shared some spare labels if anyone could use them.

Sew On Quilters!

Until Next Week.

10/27/2022: CCLQ at Passmore

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.

This week Deedee hosted us at the Passmore Center.

Ruth B. was given the Sainted Halo from Candy for giving her Cats a home while she is in temporary housing.  Linda H. can attest that Chip can be very fierce when he is being transported.

Ruth S. is back in the State and showed these cute children donation quilts.

Ella gave us her very own trunk show of donation quilts. Spectacular.

Ella also asked the group to help layout these Tea Pot blocks and Recipe sheets that are from each of her sisters.  Not sure which way she'll go with the layout ... will be waiting to see.

Lynda Mac reported on how well the visit went with her family from halfway around the globe.   We all just love these animals hiding in the fabrics.

Carol has been in Grammie mode making baby quilts

Candy is deciding on a few runners if she should donate or keep since they are some favorites.

Deborah shared what she is currently working on ... Kawandi Quilts that are done by hand and in an outside in method.   She also shared her purchases from the Quilt Show Vendors.
