1/14/21 - CCLQ @ ZoomBEE

Welcome to another meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  This week, Maggie was kind enough to serve as our hostess again. Thanks, Maggie!

Show and Tell...

Joy:  Shared beautiful backing for her January table topper. Shared the border options for the table topper.  Joy volunteered to be the DOQ Challenge Chair!  Thank you Joy!



Later she shared that Project Quilting started again.. Challenge last week is illuminating and ultimate gray(Pantone colors of the year)...Joy showed her Lovely gray and white and yellow wall hanging.



Lynda: finished a quilt top for Britt!  Plans to start a project with 1500 small squares. Thankfully, Lynda sent a better photo of the quilt.






Britt: Showed the lovely quilt top her mom made. Binding done on Candy's LWR donation quilt. Almost finished quilting on Ruth S's LWR quilt using a new pantograph. (Photos show Candy's quilt.)






Carol: Finished one of the sections for the Easter basket for granddaughter.






Deborah:  Ordered fabric for “Stitches from the Heart” quilt from Fat Quarter Shop. Pattern is free HERE.




Ruth S: Working on “I Spy” quilt.






Ruth B: While on a walk, she saw a hawk standing in the middle of the road. Sewed borders on LWR donation quilt. Used left over blocks to make a second donation quilt.








DeeDee: Her friend Nancy got the pink bird pillow and was thrilled with the “Pink Bird of Happiness.” Added borders for a lovely NICU Donation quilt.






Cheryl K: Pieced butterfly quilt together, worked on borders, and cut binding.  She still has a big bag of scraps leftover.










Ella: Shared her gorgeous blue and white quilt made of left over half square triangles sewn into pinwheels with a wonderful border.






Gayle: Shared a colorful king size quilt made of bright watercolor fabric and white. It’s for Steve’s cousin.










Candy: Visited grandkids for birthday. Working on gray and yellow quilt.







Cheryl B: Shared an amazing hand appliqué quilt...from Edyta Sitar Laundry Basket Quilts.





Maggie: Shared a lovely table runner including the back.  Used left over nine patches. Maggie’s challenge this year is to use left over blocks. Started Meadow Mist mystery quilt. Made another gorgeous quilt from jelly roll strip from Pineapple Fabrics.
Started making blocks for Grid Girls Mystery Quilt group on FaceBook. Making All Stacked Up quilt From Colourwerx with friend Sheila.













Later, Gayle wondered who might have left this beautiful scarf at her house during pet care:





Ella was very happy to discover where she had left her scarf:



Britt emailed with the following update:
Vaccine eligibility was just extended to 65 and up according to breaking news from Gov Cooper.
