Welcome to this week's meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  Our notes come to you today from Deborah and photos are compliments of Joy.  Thank you, ladies, for keeping members up to date on the projects that were shared!  Today's hostess was Ruth B.  She managed to keep 11 quilters in line throughout the meeting.  Thanks, Ruth!!

Show and Tell...

Deborah: 

Star quilt table topper.

Quilted in a star burst pattern.

Quilted Christmas ball done.

Plans on...

..making 3 more.

Early Christmas gift from hubby...he made a bargello clock for Deborah’s sewing room.

Happy Birthday to Cheryl K!

Making Christmas cookies today...

Moravian sugar cookies...

 and pecan tarts.  Yum!

TELL - She will be making Christmas masks. 

Candy:

Made four or five wonky Christmas tree wall hangings.

Better photo:

Decorated them with flower button "stars" and stitched "garland".

She made on for herself to hang between the cat portraits:

Modern Fabric book as a surprise gift. 

Shared a cool collection of fabric donated to Family house. Candy will send out photos for folks to choose:

Britt:

Custom quilting on Lynda’s Lorna Doone quilt. Also working on a rug.

Carol: 

Working on little guitar stars for grandson’s quilt.

Sent photos of her Christmas decorations to Joy.

Maggie:

Had left over fabric from the the crazy trees pattern and made more table runners.

 Also made more star table toppers.

 Shared an embroidered Christmas card made by a friend.

Lynda Mac:

Got all gifts mailed to NZ.  Playing with scraps from Lorna Doone...may have a backing for a quilt from this. Working on a crocheted afghan that she started a few years ago.

Ella:

Making a beautiful pinwheel quilt.

 From scraps left from her grandsons' quilts. Happy birthday for tomorrow Ella!

Ruth S:

Putting binding on a lovely red and blue quilt.

Britt quilted it.

Made an apron for her granddaughter.

Cut out pieces for Crazy Christmas tree.

Maggie will talk her thru putting it together on our Sew Saturday Jan. 2.

Joy:

Quilted her second mojo mini quilt.

Has Carol’s green quilt on the long arm.

Ruth B:  Has a 7 ft Christmas tree to give to someone.

Britt needed a tree...she was unable to find a tree this year....so Ruth’s tree has a new home.
