Welcome to the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters weekly bee meeting. This week Candy hosted the group in her new residence.
Cheryl shared her finished holiday wall hanging. Then she asked for a little help in fixing a cape hood that she is making for grandson Luka. It was agreed that moving the hood down further into the cape neck curve might help.
Update of finished cape
Deborah revealed her 2025 NT Fabric Challenge entry "Luna". The piece was inspired by my daughter who was given several Luna moth eggs for her preschool classroom. She and the kids in the class incubated the eggs then fed the caterpillars in late spring and through the summer then released them in early October.
She also showed us a Panel she plans to work on just having purchased some companion fat quarters ... stay tuned in 2026.
Deedee had some potholder gifts to show before they are spread to her dearest Friends.
Carol has this peacful top almost done she's just going to add a small top/bottom border.
Maggie had some zipper bags to show as wellas the snowman wall hanging new for this season.
A few fabric finds from Bull Town and some scaps to share that were originally from Becky who got a lot of scraps out of her sewing room because the house is on the market in Oxford, NC.
Maggie received this to beautiful to use coaster from Patty.
Ruth is working on the Ella Quilt but isn't too sure if she will continue since she is not having fun doing the blocks.
Brit is busy getting customer quilts ready and was enjoying a visit away from the longarm machine.
Joy showed us her project bag made at the last G's Retreat as well as her 2025 NT Fabric Challenge
Candy has two more ethnic pieces that she was asking for suggestions on what to do with them since the other are already being used on the walls of her appartment.
