Happy New Year from the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters! Seven quilters met at Joanna's house for our first meeting of 2017.

| Ruth S, Joanna, and Deborah have completed tops for the police support quilt project. Candy shared a tip for sewing on the label...she used a small zig-zag stitch with monofilament thread and fused the label as well. Joanna composed the label for the back of the quilt: "This is offered as a symbol of our support, our faith in you and our awareness of the danger you live with. May your courage inspire us to bridge gaps and improve relations. " This will go along with a group photo of the CCL quilters. Candy volunteered to make this label for the back of the quilt. |

ReplyDeleteThank you for the Quilt Show from your group. Beautiful quilts and a wide range of designs. Joanna, your 3-D tree is definitely 3-D. Please show it again when it's sewn together. Also like Helen Keller's quote.
