Welcome to another meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!
We had a walk on the garden path to reach the deck for our meeting and the sights were wonderful.
Deborah
is working on her Granddaughter’s doll head.
During the meeting she was able to complete crocheting the hair
cap. Who knew there were so many
techniques for making dolls. Included is
a picture of the patterned dolls.
Maggie shared a completed donation quilt and the first of 80 batik blocks for a wedding quilt.
Dee Dee shared her put together Solar Flare top.
Carol used some of her mothers orphan blocks to make a small runner and proudly showed the completed gray and green baby quilt. Oh how those critters make us smile.
Lynda has been busy in the garden filling up those new raised beds with the "GOOD" dirt and native pollinator plants.
Cheryl is working on a hunter star quilt that is proving a tad difficult but new fabric is on the way to keep it going. And she still has a smile.
Ruth talked about cleaning up and possibly dispersing some thin ribbon from her stash.
One possible use for the thin ribbon is for these holiday drawstring gift bags.
Maggie has a pdf document to show how to make them on google drive. Click link:
There's a tool from Dritz to help ... (at joanns link is Here )
Until next week!
