9/25/25: CCLQ at Gayle’s

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week the group met at Gayle’s home.  Lots of fun show and tell.

Maggie started us off with this amazing T-shirt quilt that she made for her brother in law.

Maggie went shopping at Bull Town Fabrics in Hillsborough and found some great fabrics on sale.

Cute panel for a donation quilt.

Maggie plans to use this pattern to make a cool quilted dish holder.

Candy was happy to announce she’s got her sewing space set up! Yay!

Candy made several lovely placemats with her Round Robin blocks.

Cheryl reported she’s back from traveling.

Cheryl made this donation quilt from some blocks a friend gave her.  Maggie brought the quilt back from the quilter.

Back of princess quilt.

Britt quilted a quilt for her mom and is almost finished quilting the king size quilt for Cheryl.

Lynda finished the quilting on this happy Santa quilt for the Passmore Craft show.

Lynda also completed this fun scrappy donation quilt.

Sweet backing fabric on Lynda’s quilt.

Carol also completed a Santa quilt for the craft show.

Cool backing fabric.

Carol made this lovely donation quilt top.

While at the beach Gayle found this fun fabric at a craft show/sale.

Gayle found some nice companion fabrics for her focus fabric too!

Deborah reported she’s working on the borders for the Carpenter Star Quilt.

Until next time, happy quilting!
