Welcome to the Chery Creek Lane Quilters weekly meeting!
This week Gayle hosted with a bitter sweet Good Bye for Carol who is moving to the beach! A little too soon for this Group to finish a scrappy Heart Quilt. But we will finish and when Carol is back in town we can let her take it home and remember us all.
Deedee also had a gift for Carol.
Maggie showed two tops that are made from some leftover fabric that has been in the stash for years and years. She also asked for opinions on placemats that need extra side fabric. Wait for next week to see which way they end up.
Deborah brough along both block types so we can get an idea how this 250 Celebration is going to look.
Ella is patiently waiting her mojo to return.
Britt has a donation top finished. The borders really work with all the charms.
Lynda has double the idea to work with these cute little center squares.
Candy has a surprise for Carol as well ... can you guess, yep its a final bag of scraps.
Joy made one little adjustment to this Scarf pattern and it really steps it up to an Infinity Scarf.
Gayle has started on a new method of doing hexie's. They start round then fold over and tack in the center. It's a great inspiration picture.
