2/12/19 - NT Nights @ Passmore Center

Welcome to another meeting of the Nimble Thimbles Nights Quilt Bee!!  Only a small group showed up for this week's meeting.  That's OK, though.  We were small, but mighty!  :o))

This was Joy's Show and Tell:

Carol is working on a knit blanket for her granddaughter:

Joy worked on marking lines for a batch of HSTs:

Margaret's nearly-finished Blooming 9-Patch, quilted by Joy:

She also shared the top she made from a kit purchased at the DOQ Silent Auction last month:

Margaret discussed border options:

The dark fabric will probably be the backing:

Margaret told the story of this newly completed quilt top, purchased to keep her busy during the early days of her retirement:

She also showed off the door prized made for the Umstead  Trail Marathon.  Her DH is volunteering and DS1 is running:

Margaret worked on binding the last edge of her Blooming 9-Patch, using a Black Gold Sewing Needle (by Clover) gifted to CCLQ members by Deborah:

Kirsten added more stitches to DH's new scarf, knit in the "official" Carolina Blue yarn from Lorna's Laces, dyed for Yarns, Etc.:

Joy also finished drawing lines on these turquoise squares:

See?!  I told you there was a LOT going on for such a small group.

Until next time...
Gather with friends!!!
