From Joy: Karen at G’s Quilt and Craft Retreat is looking for donation quilts for nurses who work on the Covid Unit at Wake Med. They need simple style, 45-56 x 64-70 sized quilts. Joy will be serving as the liaison for this collection effort.

Carol: finished yellow table runner with adorable hummingbird for Joy’s TABLE SCRAPS Challenge. Made a cute Valentine’s and St. Patrick's table runner too! Carol is ahead of the game now!
DeeDee: Finished quilting the second quilt that she started on Sew Saturday. Getting ready to do binding. Binding a third quilt. Recommended the book: The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek.
Candy: working on gray and yellow quilt... decided to redo sashing and will add borders.
Lynda: working on the bright squares quilt...Shared lovely block number four....started on number five.
Cheryl: working on crazy log cabin squares. Not sure what these blocks will become.
Deborah: Finished Stitches From the Heart Valentine’s quilt top. Will be a wall hanging.
Ella: started a new donation quilt and is cleaning out her sewing room.
Maggie: Grid Girls blocks are done. Will add sashing. Big news...Michael’s at New Hope Commons is now selling fabric off the bolt.
Joy: sewing binding on a lovely table topper? Has a lovely quilt hanging on the long arm getting ready to quilt.
Ruth B: having some computer problems. Sewing machine is now fixed. Ruth got the thread out and that took care of it.
Ruth S: Maggie brought Ruth the quilted I Spy quilt...quilted at Sarah’s. Started a new donation quilt with cute puppy dog fabric. Made a cute quilted bag last Saturday for Donna at The Bluff.

Gayle: working on beautiful Jacob’s Ladder quilt. Has a panel for a baby quilt from the DOQ silent auction and plans to make a quilt with that. May cut out panels and add more blocks.
Britt: currently quilting Lynda’s (Mom’s) quilt. Also shared some Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt blocks from 2017...Britt has a design on her design wall of how to arrange these beautiful blocks.
