CCLQ on 7-8-21 at Zoom Bee

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week our hostess was Gayle via Zoom.  Deborah was in charge of photos for the blog.  Joy joined in briefly and hopefully got some better photos.  Please excuse all the group shots…Deb forgot to change to speaker view when photographing until the end of the meeting!   So look closely to see the quilt projects!

Gayle had a wonderful visit with her son and family! She enjoyed every moment with her grandson, especially teaching him to fish. She’s working on machine quilting the Dresden Plate quilt.

This is a lovely group shot.  We were all so glad to see Ella!  Maggie just happened to hold up a quilt for this one!  Thanks Maggie.

Look closely and you can see the lovely table runner made by Ruth S.  Ruth is enjoying the bluff.  Her family is there.  There will be a dance and a Canasta Tournament!

Ah…Deborah remembered that Joy sometimes uses her cell phone to take photos…Here’s Ruth S holding the back of her lovely reversible  table runner.

In this group shot, Ruth is holding up a chair pad that she made using the coil method.

Deborah made another sofa pillow using Cherry Wood fabrics and cotton/linen.

Look closely and you can see Candy holding a nice collection of Batiks from her son-in-law’s mom.

Look…there’s Ruth S holding up another lovely chair pad.

Linda joined us and so did her sweet kitty.

Here are the photos that Joy captured at the beginning of the meeting...

Editor's Note...

I apologize for the hurried photos and having to bug out of the meeting so early.  As it was, thanks to the rainstorm, I had just barely enough time to get to the airport on time. Special thanks to Deborah for taking some photos.

Joy also received the following photos from Maggie...

And from Ruth S...

Until next time...
It's a QUILT-y day!!!
