7/14/22 CCLQ

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.

Linda was our hostess at the Passmore Center with an assortment of goodies for the 9 of us.

Candy started off showing a pieced top that may now have a plan for quilting with wavy lines.  The table runner of her own design from triangle strips is done and waiting to be gifted.

Lynda has pieced a top from the pattern "All Boxed In" with some darling Tula Pink fabrics.
She also shared a layer cake of another Tula Pink fabric line that is looking for an equally good pattern.

Carol completed the Yellow, Orange, and Red quilt for a SIL who is just finishing up a round of chemo and this is sure to spread some cheer.  Also the crumb quilt rows are now together.

Cheryl Breeze did the quilting and added some diagonal lines on the border.

Maggie showed one of the Tuesday Groups donation quilts being bound.

Dee Dee got all the boxes from the top shelf of her quilting closet down and found some her Mother's UFO's from the 1980's.  Not her favorite colors but she plans to finish them up somehow.

She also shared some christmas ornaments (could they be fashion accessories as well?)

Deborah reported the Atmosphere quilt is All done and will be making an appearance at the DOQG Show in October.  She also has some wonderful Tula Pink fabric of Kitty Cats and is planning to use it up ... look forward to seeing what she comes up with.

Gayle shared a story of her commission quilt delivery from the past weekend.  The fellow was just over joyed to receive his mothers started projects now completed that he has place on his bed and chair.
Ruth is looking forward to visiting Oregon with her family and Linda is taking it easy.

Until next week the Geese are wishing us well from the Passmore Center!
