7/7/22: CCLQ at Carol's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.

Lynda started us off with a grand smile at the finish of the flannel top that was a kit she got at a Hampton VA show some years back.
She also showed the 2nd kitty cat quilt that Britt quilted.

What a wonderful backing fabric it is part of the collection used on the front.

DeeDee showed her big bird donation hot off the longarm.

She also showed what was on her design wall ... another donation in the works.

Deborah continues to bind the Atmosphere quilt and is keeping it corralled by folding it to show the section she is hand binding outside the bag.

Ruth showed what she got from Pineapple ... Dottie's scraps which are from the Edyta Sitar line.

She also shared the sweet child top with the blocks all together.

Carol finished a scrappy quilt of her own design with sashing strips that are very striking.

Crumbs gone wild, here are two rows of a work in progress.

Gayle showed a complete commission top that features embroidery work done by the patrons mother.  Two other blocks might just get made into pillows.
Wonderful colors in this baby quilt that also adorn the back.

Maggie showed two finished tops (Quilting by Britt) the first pattern was from one of the 3-Yard books and even the leftover strip-set pieces got put on the back.  The 2nd quilt started from the DOQG blocks that were won at a meeting.  The 6 center star blocks were made to go with the guild blocks.

Keep sewing until we meet again.
