Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters. This week the group met at Cheryl’s home. Lots of fun show and tell. A big THANK YOU to DeeDee for making the star block kits for our upcoming star block donation quilt. Blocks are due Aug. 10th and the meeting that day will be at Maggie’s. |

Deborah showed the throw size memory quilt. She found extra fabric for the sashing online at SewLux fabrics in Raleigh. Deborah will add a border and get this quilted by next week. |
Candy has been working on several home projects and is also sewing the quilted cover for her stand mixer. |
Ruth B went to Cary Quilting Company and found this fabric for possible sashing for her Kaffe Fassett quilt. |

Cheryl made this as a backing for the Charlie Harper quilt, but decided to make it into another quilt. She plans to appliqué some birds on the solid blocks. |

Linda reported that she’s excited about some redecorating projects. She plans to paint one bedroom her favorite color….purple! |
