10/17/24: CCLQ at Lynda’s

 Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week quilters met at Lynda’s home.


Linda H shared this lovely donation quilt.  Candy completed the binding on this quilt. 

Linda finished this beautiful butterfly quilt which will hang in her sewing room.

Linda shared this stunning Kaffe Fassett quilt.

The back of the Kaffe Quilt is also very cool. 

Linda finished this charming quilt from a Keepsake Quilting kit that she found when re-organizing her sewing space. 

Linda plans to make a baby quilt for her niece using these delightful baby animal blocks. 

Maggie made this fun Thanksgiving table runner. 

Maggie made a trip to Keepsake Quilting formerly known as Pineapple Fabrics and found this cool Dino panel. 

Maggie found lots of cool fabric at Keepsake. 


Maggie also purchased some new patterns. 

More fun fabric with animals doing yoga!  Maggie selected some perfect companion fabrics.


Lynda awarded Maggie the cherished pineapple sunglasses! 

Carol is making a charming donation quilt with blocks from the Tuesday group. 

Carol added wonderful scrappy borders to the panel blocks. 


Ella reported that she donated a collection of quilt guild and quilt show pins to the DOQ boutique.
Maggie worked in the boutique and reported that shoppers went wild over the pins! 
DeeDee shared this pattern for a unique border idea for panels. 


DeeDee found this fabric at Cary Quilting. She plans to make a quilt for Harbor using a modified BQ pattern. 

DeeDee had fun drafting the pattern.

DeeDee purchased a nice collection of other fabrics at Cary Quilting. 



DeeDee plans to use this cute farm fabric to make a child’s donation quilt. 

Gayle made this lovely knit top. 

Gayle finished the “Anything Goes” quilt!

Candy reported that she has been busy with preparing for her upcoming work at the voting polls. 

Lynda completed this beautiful Christmas quilt top.  She plans to use flannel on the back. 

Deborah had a nice visit with the grandkids.  She continues to make heart blocks for a baby quilt.
