FABRIC ATTACK!

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week nine quilters met at Gayle’s home.  As you read along…see if you can tell why the blogger thought someone said, “FABRIC ATTACK," when they actually said something else.  Today we had a large group with lots of chatter, so it was often hard for the blogger to hear what folks were saying.  This came through…. Connecting Threads is having a big sale if you need more fuel for your FABRIC ATTACK!

This is the beautiful piece that Joy made as part of the “Make It Mini” challenge. 

Close up…this fiber and paint piece was mounted on a small canvas.

Carol reported that the Christmas decorations are up!  Also,  her fabrics have exploded in her sewing room. She has spent some time reorganizing that space. 

Ruth donated some coasters and a lovely table topper for the Passmore bazaar. 

Ruth also donated this wonderful “Bonnie” quilt to the bazaar. 

DeeDee brought her load of fabric finds in this delightful kitty bag. 

DeeDee found many good deals at the thrift shops in the Edisto area. 

Deborah found this colorful fabric at the Quilted Needle Quilt shop in Pittsboro, NC. 

This additional piece is also part the line. 

Candy shared the Eliza quilt pattern.

Here’s Candy’s amazing Eliza quilt that she plans to give to her son-in-law. 

Gayle is working on this beautiful Kaffe Fassett jacket.

Maggie made these adorable placemats fro the bazaar.

These Thanksgiving themed placemats are sure to be a hit. 

The placemats are reversible! 

Britt has been working on several long arm projects.  She is collecting fabric for the wedding quilt.  Each block will have 56 pieces!!!!!!!

Here’s the wedding quilt pattern.  

Look closely…Here’s the detailed view of the layout for one block. Britt plans to use the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt approach to make all these tiny components.
