Welcome. The Cherry Creek Lane Quilters had a pre-Thanksgiving meeting hosted by Ella. Here are some finished, some planned, and some inprocess projects
We had terible news that morning that our friend and fellow quilter Linda passed away the day before. The quilt we were working on for her in her favorite color was done and ready for the signature label. We hope her daughter Margaret will get a bit of comfort from it with all our thoughts and prayers wrapped up in it.
A few extra hearts on the back look more like "L's" for Linda.
Gayle put the group in a more light hearted mood by showing us her finished Jacket.
Gayle found this big stitch through in a shop and just had to get it. Possible plans are to use it in another garment in 2026.
Joy reports that Matthew is on his way to Arizona
Brit has a finished donation quilt from the Marque patten of the Fat Quarter Style book.
Cheryl has her 2nd inprocess landscape quilt. Just a few more tweaks and we might see the 3rd and final version. Yeah Cheryl.
Deedee contiues to work with Ruth B's. squares to make a donation quilt. So far she has 9 squares and is thinking it will get a sashing in between the blocks.
Lynda has a wonderful panel and accompaning fabric to make this "Flourish" pattern. She is going to work on the best way to fussy cut the panel with it's variety of focal points.
Ella has started a new quilt guess what it's called ....
She has the first couple of blocks done and is busy with the rest.
Candy has a new baby quilt pattern to start work on. Now that she is finished with the donation "Bonnie" quilt and turning it in.
Ruth used up a bunch of holiday scrap fabric to make herself some new placemats.
Ruth got her snowman back all quilted and ready for trimming and binding.
Deborah show us her door prize from the last guild meeting. The speaker Lynn Gorges talked about the Quilt Collection at the May
Museum from 1820-1900 and this book is from the organization she belongs to.
Carol is on her next baby donation quilt using some larger panel blocks and some fussy cut corner stone blocks.
That's it lets all be ...
