3/31/15 - NT Nights @ H'boro Library

This evening, 4 quilters gathered at the Hillsborough Library for a cut, sew, and chat session.

Mostly chat!!!  :o))

No "real" Show and Tell, but...

Margaret brought along the completed interior of her newest quilt top:

It just sparkles!!

And was working on a section of the borders:

Hey!  There's Joy's adorable Easter tote bag laying on the table.  She has a coordinating quilted jacket, too!

Carol was working on her friend's mother's quilt:

Just when she thought she wouldn't do any more hand quilting...

Joy brought scraps for trimming:

Yes. She trims down to ONE inch square!!!

Britt showed off her newest "long-term" project (with samples in two sizes), inspired by a quilt that she saw back in June 2014 on a now inactive blog called caffeinated cotton (who was inspired by AmandaJean's Mini Nines on CrazyMomQuilts):

Small and...

Smaller!!!

She also used the (dog-free) floor space to work on the pieced back of her Tuscan Solstice:

Rows of leftover blocks...

And auditioning fabrics for the chunks in between.  Looking good!!!

Though we were few in number, a wonderful evening was had by all.  (Such a good time that Joy even forgot to drink the cup of hot tea that she brought with her!!!  LOL)

Until next time...
Have FUN!!!
