11/17/16 - CCLQ @ Cheryl K's

Welcome to this week's meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  Cheryl K. hosted 9 members and 1 guest.  Fresh, hot coffee and delicious Almond Cookies were waiting for us all.

A fair amount of chatter was followed by Show and Tell...

Cheryl got her Bird Quilt hung on her kitchen wall:

Ella pieced her Law Enforcement wall hanging:

Joanna quilt this for Ella:

A closer look...

... And a look at the quilting, from the BACK:

Joanna also quilted this Autumn Wall Hanging for Ella:

Joy got to work on her next T-Quilt:

Jean's beading, again:

Ruth B. worked on the next step of her Twirly in Reverse:

Candy concentrated on a knitting project:

Deborah's knitted scarf got a little bit longer:

Ella worked on a new Peppermint Quilt:

Dee Dee did some drawing:

Cheryl completed a Table Runner:

Dee Dee has been cleaning out her fabric closet:

Can you guess who the lucky recipient was??  Joy, of course!!  (Thanks, Dee Dee!!!)

Jean's got a surprise...

... For Candy!!  Happy Birthday:

Our guest, Cathy (Kathy?), worked on a scrappy mini quilt:

Candy's excited about her Birthday Bracelet...

... But SOMEONE had a misfire with the camera!!  You can just barely get an idea of what her bracelet looks like.  Sorry, Jean!  It really is a lovely design:

DRUM ROLL, PLEASE!!!

Ruth B. has her first row of Twirly in Reverse ready for stitching:

Here is a better look at our guest's Holiday Mini Quilt:

She's also working on a Table Runner...

... And recently finished this Anniversary Quilt that was a collaboration with her daughter.  SEW cute!!  A real treasure, too:

Dee Dee got ousted from her other seat, but continued to sketch:

Joanna got some new patterns:

Look what Deborah finished!!  Her 9-Patch UFO is a quilt top:

EVERYONE (except Jean) went for lunch at Rasa.  A few of us tried something different this time (and were moderately disappointed.)  We wondered if someone else was cooking today. Although, the soup was delicious, as always!

Until next time...
Take time for your passion!!!
