7/18 - NT Nights @ Hboro Library

Welcome to the July meeting of the Nimble Thimbles Night Bee!!  This month 8 members gathered in the large meeting room at the Hillsborough Library, including one new member.  Welcome to the group, Patti!!

It was nice to be able to spread out once again, however, next month we will be back upstairs in the study room.  Be prepared with small projects, Quilters!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS...

With the announcement about next month's meeting out of the way, (it WILL be on our REGULAR meeting night on the LAST Tuesday of August!!) we got right into working on our projects and sharing what we've been working on since we last met.

SHOW AND TELL...

Margaret worked on binding a quilt:

Helena put her Daybreak top together:

Someone wanted to see the front of Margaret's quilt:

Helena did more finger pressing and announced that this may be her LAST meeting, as she will be moving to Chapel Hill:

Patti looked through a pattern book and told Helena that SHE lives in Chapel Hill.  Joy suggested that they should carpool to Bee:

Carol didn't bring anything to work on, but enjoyed our company:

Cheryl B. shared this Hexi quilt top:

Margaret asked for suggestions on repairing this over-loved quilt:

Cheryl spent the evening making MORE little hexies:

Bo designed and embroidered shirts for a (somewhat) local quilt group up in Henderson, NC:

Joy brought her Rainbow Picnic SAL project to arrange:

Carol helped with the photographs and comparing this layout...

... To the designer's (Rachel at Stitched in Color) color plan:

Karen brought along some quilt books to look through:

Joy stacked up the rows of Rainbow Picnic...

... In the hopes that they won't get mixed up between here and the sewing machine at home.

Until next time...
BEE happy!!!
