10/26/17: CCLQ at Joy's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week seven quilters met at Joy's home.  Lots of fun show and tell today!

Joy made delicious muffins! Britt made some gluten free. Yum...yum!

Deborah assembled the group's Quilts for Vegas bright top.

Deborah recently had lunch with her sister who gave her two appliquéd aprons that belonged to their Granny.

Apron two

Along with the aprons, Deborah now has some vintage Christmas fabric. Maybe she'll make some placemats or a table runner.  Better get busy Deborah, Christmas is just around the corner!

Cheryl K finished this wonderful quilt top for her new daughter-in-law.

Joanna shared a photo of her driveway which is being redone!

Britt assembled the group's pastel Quilt for Vegas top.

Britt and Joy have been busy making trail totes!

The pattern is free on the Kaufman Fabrics website. Click here for a link to the free trail tote pattern.

Here's another adorable trail tote made Britt.

Joy made these trail totes to deliver to a friend at the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair.

Wait...there's more!!

Ruth B shared that she finished the Twirling in Reverse Quilt top and will bring it next week.
Deborah worked on knitting a scarf (maybe for Halloween) since it has glow in the dark bits in it.

Gayle created this diamond pattern using Kaffe Fassett fabrics.

Joy shared this charming mug rug that she received from a mug rug swap.

Joy ordered some lovely quilt labels.

Cheryl shared a quilt label that a friend ordered for her.

The label maker is from a web based company called Namemaker

Joy shared this fabulous antique apple core quilt that she purchased in Paducah, KY.

Until next time,  " Friends are threads of gold in the quilt of life."
