11/8/18: CCLQ at Jean's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week five quilters met at Jean's home. A big thank you to Jean for not only hosting, but also filling as blog assistant by taking photos and notes for this meeting.

Willie joined in as honorary member today!

Notice Willie's lovely turkey embroidered scarf!  He's ready to play with anyone!

Cheryl trimmed these squares for her Blooming Nine Patch quilt.

Cheryl is making good progress on her BNP.  She is also making  microwave bowls for Thanksgiving gifts.

Ella worked on sewing the binding on this wonderful quilt for her great nephew.

Lynda shared the backing for her triangle quilt.  She will use this glorious Kaffe Fassett fabric.

Lynda is still searching for the backing for this lovely quilt which will be a table topper.

This is a cool scarf for Willie to wear at Christmas and also to celebrate the Red Sox winning the World Series.

Willie must have been hungry as he tried to nibble on the turkey on his scarf.

Gayle reported the auction will be on Saturday. Her house is packed up and moved to the basement.  Floors will be refinished next week.

Jean embroidered this wall hanging for some friends in Massachusetts. Maybe they're getting the green scarf too??
Jean finished this delightful Christmas wallhanging for some local friends who share an interest in model trains.

Jean made this stunning embroidered and pieced quilt entitled "Flower Dance" for a niece in Minnesota.

This is a garden kneeling stool....we're all getting older!

Until next time, quilt and bee happy!
