11/15/18: CCLQ at Margaret's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week ten quilters met at Margaret's house.

Margaret’s friend Becky made this quilt for the Hurricane Florence quilt project.

Ruth S worked on the binding for a donation quilt.

Ruth S. completed this fabulous fishing lure appliqué quilt top for her son's fishing lodge. 

Joanna was probably laughing at one of Ruth S's stories.  Joanna reported that she finished quilting Barry's quilt.  We hope she'll bring it next time to show.  

Ella sent the baby quilt to her great niece.

Ruth found this cute felt bag in Nantucket. 

Ruth had a nice big quilting frame to donate. 

Cheryl made quite a few microwave bowl holders for gifts.

DeeDee attended two classes at Art of the Carolinas last week.

DeeDee had a tell about her reward for renovating her studio. She's buying a serger!

Deborah started knitting a hat for grand-baby Holly. 

Lynda had a tell about searching for fabric for recovering some chair seats.  She found the fabric at Joann's Fabric and it was half priced!!!

The group ventured out on this rainy day to the Village Diner in Hillsborough. It was a perfect day for a hot bowl of soup. Almost everyone ordered tomato soup with grill cheese sandwiches.
