7/30/19 - NT Nights @ Passmore Center

Welcome to July's main meeting of the Nimble Thimbles Nights Quilt Bee!!  Considering it's the middle of summer, we had a really good turnout tonight.

Here is what YOU missed, if you weren't able to attend...

Margaret arrived early to baste this Donation Quilt:

Joy ambled in with two new Quilted Mug Rugs to share, but only the blue one has met needle and thread:

She also brought her Pecking Order quilt, which needed a few more thread tails buried, after the obligatory photo was taken by Karen L.:

Smile for the camera, Joy:

Carol looked refreshed while working on a Hankie project for her future DIL to use at the upcoming wedding:

Margaret asked for input on her fabric selections (from Pineapple Fabrics and stash) for a quilt made with the Labyrinth Walk pattern:

She also showed off a newly quilted Donation Quilt made of a scrap bag from Pineapple Fabrics:

This one will be for the Bunk Bed program supported by DOQ:

Margaret used this Migrating Geese Technique Sheet from Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Designs:

Karen L. recently sent her Turtle Quilt out to be quilted by Bo @ Hillsborough Quilting:

She finished this Wolfpack Quilt for her daughter who graduated from NC State University:

Let's have a closer look at the machine embroidered dragonflies that Bo added to the sky portion of the Turtle Quilt:

This is Karen's interpretation of the sun, done in Kaffe fabrics:

Stephanie joined us this evening:

Kirsten is making progress on her husband's scarf:

Stephanie is happy to be getting some HST blocks sorted:

This one MIGHT even be finished by graduation!  LOL

Until next time...
Sit and STITCH!!!
