7/2/20 - CCLQ @ ZoomBEE

Welcome to this week's meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  Last week's Live and In Person event was a "one-off".  Does that mean we continue counting our weeks on Zoom or start over at Week One???  Thank you to Deborah for scheduling our meeting and to Joy for keeping us on track this week!

Since Jean wasn't with us today, we will have to make do with this group photo, unless Deborah captured a better one:

Oh!  Deborah got a screenshot before Ruth S. and Lynda Mac left this morning's meeting:

Yep!  And one after Britt arrived:

Here’s a link to see how these rugs are made: https://www.instructables.com/id/Twined-Rainbow-Rug/ Britt's DH made a rug frame for her to use for this project.

Ruth B...

... Had a TELL or two - She's been working on her black and white quilt.  Volunteered at the Food Bank in Durham.  Ruth harvested her first tomato of the year!

Ruth S...

... Also had a TELL - She finished all the pieced blocks of the Jason Yenter Atmospheric quilt. Ruth plans to start the circle blocks next. She is happy her family is visiting for a while!  :o)) Consequently, she probably won't see us for the rest of the month.  :o((

Editor's Note: Thank you to Deborah for tag-teaming this blog post. Having the meeting notes provided is generally SEW much faster than having to write it up AND post the photos! However, today some of you might have noticed that I experienced some technical difficulties that my in-house tech guy was unable to solve. My apologies to Britt, Ruth B. and Ruth S.

ETA...

The issue has (hopefully) been resolved and the remaining photos have been dropped in.

Until next time...
Let's hope this works now!!!
