Welcome to another meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!!  Thank you to Ruth S. for serving as this week's hostess.  She herded cats SEW efficiently that we finished the meeting in record time!

Thursday, April 8th (weather permitting) we will be meeting @ Ella's driveway.  Time TBD!!

Saturday, April 24th (weather permitting) Nimble Thimbles will be meeting in Britt's driveway.  Time TBD!!

Show and Tell...

Britt:  Shared a a photo of the gorgeous tree quilt!  Britt exquisitely quilted this commission piece. Britt has a quilt on the long arm machine and is almost done.  New idea for trying out panto quilting designs using a page protector.

Candy:  has been working on binding. Will show next week.  Had a fun weekend with grandkids.

Cheryl K:  finished the top to the crazy squares quilt. Making some pillows for outdoor furniture.

DeeDee:  successfully delivered quilts to friends in SC.  Went to Magnolia Gardens which was spectacular!  It was pink bloom azalea week! Shared photos of the music quilt with the happy recipient.  Working on the back for the nine patch quilt. Plans to work in yard.

Deborah: working on sashing for BOM quilt. Shared an interesting way to make 26 HST from  two fabrics sized 6.5x 21.5.  Had a fun time with grandkids. Also working in yard.

Ella:  working on cleaning out the attic.  Plans to host next week outside in her driveway! Will let us know closer to the date pending weather etc.

Gayle: finished quilting Patsy’s quilt and is working on the binding.  Friendly reminder that if you use dark fabric, use black batting.  This quilt has a lot of lint on it. She’s been on

Joy:  working on some log cabin blocks with cool colors.  Made a nice beach quilt for the blog hop. This quilt evolved into a series!  Made a give away beach mug rug or mini beach quilt. Made a second beach mini quilt with match-stick quilting. Made a third mini beach quilt. Then made a fourth tiny beach quilt for a pin cushion. Showed several pin cushions stuffed with pillow stuffing and will add crushed walnut shells later. Shared the word quilt “Scraps.”  Shopped at Pineapple Fabrics yesterday and got a backing and some scraps bundles for Britt. Bought a animal panel with a animal fabric for backing. This will be for a baby quilt.

Maggie: finished a table runner with left over pieces from a charm pack and jelly roll and working on binding. Shared a second table runner using triangles for last month’s color which was green. Going to PIneapple tomorrow!

Ruth B: had a fun visit with granddaughter over the weekend. Thinking of using stitch in the ditch quilting for the Twirling Quilt.

Ruth S:  made a wonderful Face Quilt for her daughter to use in her classroom. Working on quilting her Face Quilt. Stay tuned for live show and tell next week!

Editor's Notes...

Apologies for any less than flattering photos during today's meeting.  Brain fog from my Covid vaccine persisted throughout the day.  As such, I headed back to bed after we said our goodbyes.
