4/24 - (Virtual) NT Sew Day

Welcome to the April meeting of the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Bee!!  Our group had planned an outdoor meeting at Britt's driveway, but the weather had other ideas.  Joy suggested that we have a (Virtual) Sew Day instead and everyone agreed.

Show and Tell...

Gayle shared the blocks on her design wall and she'll be making more:

She recently finished this sweet quilt done in colors which are very un-Gayle-like, but she loves it:

Her cutting table is set up in her quilt studio:

Her art studio has moved into what had been the music room:

Here's a closer look at the quilt Gayle is working on today:

Dee Dee didn't stay with us today:

She had a headache and couldn't focus on quilting:

Joy recently received these Bonus HSTs from a friend and decided this would be a good time to press them open:

Success!!!  Linda's quilt top is assembled:

What a wonderful day!

Thanks go out to Deborah for setting up today's event and to Britt for assuming hostess duties when Deborah had to leave for lunch.  Here's hoping YOU can join us next time, if you weren't with us today!  Those of us in attendance truly enjoyed each other's company and managed to get a lot of work done, too.

Until next time...
SEW happy (virtually) together!!!
