1/25/22 -- Zoom-y NT Nights

Welcome to the January 2022 meeting of the NT Nights quilt bee!!  Five members and one guest joined in on the Zoom call.  Welcome, Sue!  We're SEW glad that you were able to visit with us this evening.  Here's hoping you will join us again soon!

Joy shared that there are only FOUR more boxes that HAVE to be unpacked and dealt with before the longarm can (FINALLY) be set up:

Ann asked for recommendations for marking the quilting lines.  Several people has suggestions.  Sue said a sliver of soap works great and Kirsten showed the Sewline pen(cil) shes been using:

... Enjoyed meeting some new people and had a good chat with Kirsten about dog shows.

... Has started the CCLQ (Nimble Thimbles?) UnBegun Challenge - Bonnie Hunters Hourglass Leader/Ender Challenge from 2016.  She's starting with her orange scraps:

Then we went to the master bedroom to see the KING SIZED quilt that her granddaughter DESIGNED and MADE for her grandfather for this past Christmas:

As Britt, Joy and Sue hadn't seen each other for quite some time.
