Coffee first! Then we got down to the business of sewing (cutting, stitching, etc.)...
Jean ripped out the black on black side seams that warped her latest Kitchen Quilt:
Gayle was working on the binding of another Donation Quilt:
Dee Dee a favorite old T-shirt and some fabric from her stash to create a lounge dress:
Since it was an experiment, she just stitched her fabric to the shirt, in case it didn't work:
She added a kick pleat for wear-ability:
Joanna worked on a stitching project:

Deborah showed us a photo from a 1993 quilt magazine that she WILL NOT be using as inspiration for the border on her Lady of the Lake Quilt:

Almost everyone had plans for after the meeting so we had a "J" Lunch at the NEW Monterrey's Mexican Grill in Carrboro Plaza. Jean, Joanna, and Joy highly recommend it:
