6/18/15 - CCLQ @ Dee Dee's

Today we were at Dee Dee's house for our quarterly scheduling meeting.  If you weren't at the meeting, please contact Dee Dee A.S.A.P with the days that you CAN NOT host during the months of July, August, and September. She will need those dates in order to accommodate our varied calendars.

We were 8 in number today and the majority did some sort of handwork...

I'm not certain, but I believe that Gayle worked on binding Tommy's Quilt:

Joy stitched down the label on her Crumb Quilt (that has been done since March!):

Ruth B. picked out stitching on several of her (somewhat less-than-perfect) pinwheels:

Jean worked on closing the pins that serve as the basting on her latest Kitchen Quilt:

Some folks just don't sit still long enough...

... for the camera to take a picture!

Joanna sewed down binding on her Nautical-themed Quilt:

Shown here:

And here (pardon the chair, as space is limited in Dee Dee's dining room):

Dee Dee worked on scheduling the meetings for the next quarter:

Candy showed us the pattern that she will use for her new "Grand" quilt

Along with the fabrics she chose for it while on her latest trip:

And asked our opinion of the direction of the "geese":

Jean's Triptik No More is ready for quilting:

We welcome Linda back from school:

And she told us the latest news of "Autumn's Regret":

The quilt has found a new home and the name can now be changed to "Niece's Delight" (but Linda maintains that she is NOT changing the label!!!)

The BEST news, though, is that her new college grad daughter has found a full-time job.

(Hooray! for Margaret AND Linda!!!)

We had a lovely morning.  Please look further progress in the coming weeks.  The meeting adjourned and half of us went off to eat at Hillsborough Barbecue (referred to in some circles as HBBQ), while the rest of us went off to do errands and such.

Until next time...
Happy Summer!!!
