8/27/19 - NT Nights @ Passmore Center

Welcome to the Late August meeting of the NT Nights Quilt Bee!!  We had a packed house this week.  It was SEW awesome!

Margaret was dressed to quilt:

Carol brought strips for a special project:

Margaret quilted this on Joanna's longarm.  It's made of fabric that was donated by Pineapple Fabrics:

She also made and finished this Candle Mat:

Look at the cute kitties on the back...

... And the kitty quilting, too:

Margaret is making this Table Runner for the mountain house:

Carol has been working on this festive Holiday Runner:

Joy trimmed some BLUE squares for August's RSC:

Carol also spent some time with her seam ripper:

Karen W. brought her machine to work on this sweet quilt top:

Margaret asked about who might have wanted this peace sign fabric.  Carol reported that Linda might have wanted it for the back of her "V" is for Victory quilt:

Margaret did some binding...

... As Karen added the final rows onto her sweet 30's quilt:

Joy did some pressing on the scrappy bits that Margaret gave her a couple of months ago:

Alita searched for a quilt pattern...

... While Patti stitched down some binding:

Carol is cutting strips of red and green:

Alita asked about the block construction...

... For this quilt that she absolutely fell in love with:

It's actually a two-block quilt:

Ann just got this back from (Cheryl B.?) the quilter:

This is the fabric that she will use for the binding:

Victoria brought these sweet blocks...

... And cut sashing piece, only to discover she doesn't have enough:

Victoria is changing the layout from this class with Augusta Cole:

Alita will be making felt tomato slices somewhat like this:

Kirsten came in late, took out her work, held it up, and said, "Here.  Go ahead and take the picture."  The blog editor believes that everyone should be SEW accommodating:

This is her current collection of ornaments:

Her mother sent the following ornaments:

After some discussion, Ann cut strips for bias binding:

Once that was done, she took out her Hexie project:

Kirsten did a bit of stitching...

... As Karen added borders:

Before the night was over, her first border was applied:

Alita cut out carrots...

... While Karen started on a pieced border:

All in all, it was a VERY good night!!

Until next time...
Sit. Sew. Repeat!!!
