9/26/19 - CCLQ @ Ruth B's

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  On September 26th six quilters met at Ruth B's house. We missed our other members who were at the Mountain Quilt Retreat or traveling somewhere.

Ruth B has been working on her Blooming Nine Patch quilt.
Ruth is also collecting black and white fabrics for a quilt for her son.
Look at all those Christmas stockings!
Each stocking has a label and Jean was busy writing the names of the makers on each one. We used our blog photos to identify the maker of each stocking!
Remember last week at Margaret's when several of us tried her grandmother's Singer treadle machine? Jean shared this photo of a chair made from an old Singer treadle sewing machine!
Deborah found this fabric panel at Spoonflower.  This will be the central motif for a baby quilt for her niece.
The pink minky will be the backing.
This is a great book for learning to machine quilt feather designs.

Lynda now knows what the ninth Sue Spargo panel will be.

Joanna reported that she is busy quilting lots of donation quilts.

Until next time,  keep on quilting!
