Joy:
showed her beautiful fall leaves quilt.
Finished a lovely yellow basket.
Joy is making pin cushions with left over corners of her quilted baskets.
Finished her first charm square quilt and has started another charm square quilt.
Finished the Carpe Nap quilt and sent it off.
Shared Maggie’s donation quilt which was on the frame.
Deborah: shared that Ruth S sent a text to say they arrived safely last night. Ruth can’t wait to see everyone next week!
Finished two Halloween baskets for grandkids.
Working on a stuffed Halloween cat to go with the baskets
using this medical device.
Plans to make a table runner with Halloween charm pack.
Carol:
working on a quilt for grandkids with pluses and O’s using Christmas fabric.
Shabby Fabrics had a tutorial on Christmas ornaments.
Making beautiful 3D fabric balls and working on finishing a Christmas tree skirt.
Lynda:
Finishing binding on lovely blue, yellow and white quilt.
Will bring next week to Ella’s (weather permitting.)
Finished elephant wall hanging. Making Christmas aprons for grandkids.
DeeDee:
Showed a gorgeous black and white quilt.
Dee Dee sent some better photos of the gorgeous bargello quilt.
It's made of musical themed fabric.
Suzan quilted it with music notes.
Showed a bag of scraps for Joy.
Created a lovely mixed media picture with a bird stencil and may print it on fabric.
Britt: quilted a big donation quilt and needs to do binding. Use a free hand swirl design.
Has been painting landscapes with water colors. Planning to make more woven rug.
Ella and Debbie ( special guest!)
Debbie is getting her sewing room organized. Researching how to store her fabrics.
Ella: put up her fall quilts.
Found fabrics from the fall quilt ( from 16 years ago) to make a coordinating table runner! Found backing for donation quilts.
Barry stopped by the sewing room to say hello.
Candy: Finished binding on donation quilt for Joanna.
Mailed Halloween wall hanging to grandkids.
Showed a cool table runner that she made a few years ago from a Deb Tucker workshop. Used a Tri-Rex ruler. Plans to use that technique to make a baby quilt.
