Today's group photo...
... Was brought to you by Joy. Ella and her "E" were in attendance, thanks to an issue with her computer. :o))
Show and Tell...
Britt:
Made a lovely coiled bowl:
She included fancy detailing:
Britt also made a coiled rope (single load) laundry basket for her sister. The bottom was sewn with black thread for a subtle contrast:
Cheryl K:
TELL - Butterflies are all put together with a light border. Planed to use purple for next border.
Cheryl found a different fabric for the secondary border:
Deborah:
Sewing binding on Blooming Nine Patch:
TELL - Ordered some Halloween fabric to make gifts for grandkids. Shared info about new Robert Kaufman flannels: Mammoth Junior. Check it out on Hawthorne SupplyCo.
Ruth B:
Talked about batting for the black and white quilt. Soon to be quilted.
Lynda Mac:
Quilting the pretty blue squares quilt:
The quilt back is made from 10" x 10" squares from Pineapple. Used a puffy polyester batting.
Joy:
Made a cute red basket:
She also made a pin cushion with left over red quilted fabric from forming the basket corners:
Today is the start of “yellow” month and Joy shared this rope bowl (a gift from a friend many years ago) when Britt was discussing how fussy it is to wrap the clothesline:
Candy:
TELL - Working on one of Joanna’s donation quilts. Candy has some extra backing fabric if anyone wants it.
Ruth S:
TELL - Finished the binding on the Atmosphere quilt!
Here is the photo she sent. The quilt is pictured on her bed with the happy recipient standing beside it:
When Amy saw the gorgeous quilt, she had tears in her eyes!
Ruth also sent this photo of the Autumn splendor on display out her window:
Ella:
Working on finishing projects, including this beautiful purple and green butterfly appliqué quilt:
Ella is SEW excited to get busy finishing it!
Maggie:
Working with three inch red, black and white HSTs from this baggie...
... To make Pinwheels from the leftovers of another project:
She is also working on the 10 inch block quilt:
One block is a cross and one is a square. It makes an interesting design:
The pattern is Tick Tack Tile:
This is the example in the book...
... Seems Like Scrappy:
Maggie also shared this donation quilt using fabric from Joy:
She also asked if anyone remembers seeing this pattern at Joanna's house, as she would like it back:
Be sure to let Joy know, if you find any corrections that may need to be made within this post.
Until next time...
