10/8/20 - CCLQ @ ZoomBEE

Welcome to the weekly (virtual) meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilt Bee!!  Our hostess today was Ella, but she asked Joy to fill in for her.  Thanks, Joy!  Thank you to our scheduler, Deborah, as well.

Show and Tell...

Lynda Mac: finished quilting her beautiful blue and yellow quilting.  Used a snakey ruler To quilt the curves. Lynda, Joy and Britt saw this ruler at a quilt show.  It was part of a set of three rulers, so Lynda, Britt and Joy each got one and of course shared them!






Deborah:  Storm at Sea in progress on design wall. Making more diamond blocks. Shared Halloween fabric to make pumpkin baskets, cats and bats for grandkids.







Joy:  sweet baby quilt for niece. ..”Carpe Nap.”  Christmas basket.  Will use corners for pin cushions






Carol: making chickadee and cardinal quilt as you go wall hanging.  Making some “nurse“ tea towels, Santa and butterfly tea towels. Finished three quilt tops for Lutheran donation project and delivered them to Joy.













Candy:  picked up a quilt from Joy!  Will show at Ella’s help at the end of the month. Working on her Lutheran donation quilt. Made a Halloween Pumpkin wall hanging for grandkids.





DeeDee:  Got the music quilt back from Suzann...too bulky to show.  Will show later. Shared a finished donation baby quilt.







Ella:  started another quilt...had the fabric since Kansas!  Will show next week.





Linda H: enjoying retirement. Likes DeeDee’s idea of trying to do something different each day. Made two display boards.





Ruth B: finished black and white quilt last week. Will take it to Joy for quilting.



Maggie: Finished the donation quilt for the Lutheran project.  Participating in a round robin.  Had lots of HST and only had to make three more. Meadow Mist block of the month mystery quilt...corner units and four patches. 













Britt:  everything is in blocks.  Having fun making bowls.



 Made one to use as a Banneton for bread making.
