9/29/20 - Zoom-y NT Nights

Welcome to the September meeting of the NT Nights Quilt Bee!!  With the end of another month, there was another Zoom call with 6 members present (at different times.)  I got a group photo at the beginning...

... And one near the end...

... But missed getting a picture while Ann had internet, as I was on a phone call during the time that she was online.  :o((

Show and Tell...

Margaret was first to log into the meeting and had busy work to do:

Carol logged in soon after...

... And started off Show and Tell with this Autumn block made for Joy's Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilt effort:

Carol is also finishing up one of Joanna's donation projects:

She also got a 2nd quilt top for Joy's LWR Mission Quilt project:

Dawn's family had a Quilt Bee over the weekend:

She made pot holders...

... From her free-motion quilting practice pieces:

Dawn has also finished the thrifted quilt she was working on when we last met in-person:

Here, she's showing the faux-piped binding technique used:

Here's another look at...

...  Dawn's FMQ practice...

She spent some of the meeting time knitting on this blanket:

Ann has been working on her Hawaiian Shirt quilt:

She brought one over so we could take a closer look:

The collar pieces are 3-D:

Quilt top???  Insert details from Ann here:

Joy has been busy lately:

These are the items she shared for Show and Tell:

Margaret showed fabrics...

She used to make quilt backings for Joy's donation project:

This back from Maggie's stash is to finish one of Joanna's projects:

Kirsten shared a photo of her sister's rooster:

Here's one where he's mad:

He's bringing a gift to his ladies, so he actually can be charming:

Kirsten also told about her studio re-do.  Sorry!  No pictures.

Britt wasn't with us tonight, but forwarded a photo of her latest project.  She made a laundry basket for her sister:

ML later texted that the basket doesn't work.  It didn't do her laundry!  LOL

Editor's Note...

If you have photos of your current work to add, please forward them to Joy, who will happily post them.  Corrections also gladly accepted.

Until next time...
Keep on quilting!!!
