Show and Tell...
Candy: is making some housewarming quilts for grandkids. Showed a beautiful unicorn wall quilt for granddaughter and a cool school bus quilt for grandson. Found a pattern for construction vehicles which will also be for grandson.
Carol: Enjoyed the trip to Pineapple Fabric but it was crazy! Shared an adorable spring insect fabric and lovely backing fabric for her Cat-itude quilt.
Lynda Mac: started a Irish Chain quilt with Morris fabric, needs some additional fabric. Tried a new pattern with a layer cake using a pattern called Divide and Conquer from Pineapple. Going to Pineapple Fabrics on Saturday with Britt and Candy.
DeeDee: finished quilting the cute mini nine patch quilt. Went to Pineapple Fabric and Calla Lily Fabrics and had a great time.
Gayle: ordered some pre-printed labels. Lynda shared this idea a few weeks ago. Candy ordered some of these labels too! Gayle is sewing labels on seven quilts. The Dresden Plate quilt top is finished. Showed the fabrics she’s ordered from the Lori Holt collection.
Joy: made a lovely red table quilt for her mail carrier. Shared a sweet 10”x12” mini quilt that was match stick quilted on her long arm! Made another red mini quilt for her gallery wire. Joy was able to load six small quilts on her long arm at one time! Purchased a lovely assortment of fabric (10 lbs) at Pineapple Fabrics. Joy shared a sneak peak at a gorgeous colorful quilt for her niece.
Deborah: has one more border to add to Block of the Month quilt. Working on cleaning out basement to accommodate her old couch, as she's ordered a new one.
Ruth S: Made a beautiful wall quilt for the lodge using a “Life is Better at the Lake” panel from Pineapple Fabrics. Traveled with her daughter in law to a fabric store about 40 miles away and found great fabric and trims!
Maggie: found the star quilt pattern in the Nickel Quilt Book. Finished the diamond and star table runner. Used a pizza pan to make the initial line for curved quilting. Showed several adorable donation quilts.
