10/6/22: CCLQ at Cheryl’s

 Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters.  This week the group met at Cheryl’s house.

Maggie went on a “Shop Hop” on the way to the beach! She found lots of cool fabric and patterns.

Maggie found this cute pattern for making a  cell phone or small iPad stand. 

Maggie shared this awesome “Rain Cloud” quilt top. 

Ella finished this lovely Hour Glass quilt top for a donation quilt.

Ella has a friend who wants her to make this beautiful bicycle quilt!  Gayle will help Ella draft a pattern for this. 

Wow…DeeDee has been busy!  She made this lovely quilt from the bird fabric she showed last week! 

DeeDee also shared a video every quilter would love….Harbor’s family video taped his reaction to the opening of the Halloween quilt.  He truly loved getting this gift! “This is awesome! He wrapped it around himself…and had several more expressions of joy! 

Gayle completed this happy turtle applique baby quilt.

Deborah shared a Christmas table runner pattern called Border Up Runner.  She will email to pattern to the group.  Deborah is also working on two memorial T-shirts quilts. Still cutting and fusing. 

Ruth B reported that she is almost finished sewing the sleeve on her DOQ show quilt. She is also working on binding a baby quilt. 

Next week’s meeting will be at the Hillsborough Senior Center and the following week will be at Ruth B’s.
