9/14/23: CCLQ at Passmore Center

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Cherry Creek Lane Quilters!  This week Linda H hosted our bee at the Passmore Center.  Linda provided some delicious and nutritious snacks.  Check out some new fabrics, handmade Christmas ornaments,  and free patterns up for grabs.

Deborah shared this new fabric from Hancock of Paducah.  It’s Wild Blossoms designed by Robin Pickens.  Deborah only bought a yard but may need more so found out that Cary Quilting also carries this fabric!
DeeDee quickly looked up possible patterns for this fabric and found one at Shabby Fabrics.

Candy shared this lovely quilt as you go baby quilt.

Candy found this pattern at Suzy Quilts and used her Mulberry Silks gift card to purchase this amazing fabric featured below.

DeeDee’s making these sweet bird Christmas tree ornaments for the Senior Center Craft Show.

Linda has been busy busy re-organizing her sewing space and when sorting through her threads found this thread for sewing mink fur…it belonged to her grandmother.

Harman Fur Farms and Factory were located in Christianburg, VA.

Ruth brought what seems like a large piece of interfacing from when she was mattress shopping.

Ruth has created the layout for the Kaffe Fassett quilt.

Ruth found this luscious purple fabric for the sashing.

Ella was happy to be at Bee today!  She recently cleaned out a box of sewing supplies and brought a lot of wonderful patterns to give away.

Until next time, happy quilting!
