As noted previously, there was a small crowd this week. Half of our group was lucky enough to attend the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX. We got word that they arrived safely. Alas, one room short on their first night. The hotel comped the room charge some some of our quilters had MORE money to spend at the show!!!
There were 6 of us around Dee Dee's table today. Here are the photos that I took during the meeting:
Deborah showed off her newly completed OLD quilt top. |
After MUCH research (and a flurry of work) Gayle presented Edna Marie. |
And The Wild Child (who may or may not have another name.) |
Dee Dee brought out a pair of cat dolls that she and her mother made years ago. |
One that she made for her mother. |
And, an angel doll/ornament that her mother made for her. |
Cheryl K. brought along the book of stitchery that she had told us about. | |
Candy was finishing up the binding on a donation quilt that she's been working on for a few weeks. She didn't feel compelled to pose for ANOTHER photo.
Joy missed out on the photo shoot, too. She showed off two more of the custom tote bags that she has been busy making. Fraternal twin red bags, but no photo.
Britt also missed out on the photo shoot. She brought no work, since she wasn't able to make the meeting, but she met us for lunch at Hillsborough BBQ. YUM!!!
Until next time...
Happy Quilting!!!
