11/20/14 - CCLQ @ Ruth S.'s House

We were pleased to have Linda in our midst today.  She is recovery well from her recent surgery.  She brought a project to work on, but no Show and Tell.  Candy and Ruth B. were absent today.  :o((

Our busy hands (and other photos) from the meeting:

The sheer overlay for Joanna's quilt...

And the fused base.

This shot shows how they might look, if married together.

Gayle was busy cutting out flower petals...
For this eBay rescue quilt of Britt's.  (Note: Gayle's newest doll, Holly, wasn't in the mood to leave the house today.  Maybe next week!)

Joy brought her crumb quilt (at Deborah's request.)  This is a close-up of the lovely quilting pattern  that Gayle used.

This is the bag that Dee Dee made for a friend...

and a quilted dog coat for Miss Burwell (if memory serves me correctly.)

Here's a close-up of the adorable Hello Kitty fabric.
Deborah was inspired by all of the work Gayle has been doing on the dolls that she has made.  So much so that she decided to work on her own UFO doll.

Here's a shot of the needle-scuplted chest...

And then the sassy doll decided to "moon" us!!!

Here's a shot of the quilting that Joanna did on Ella's Christmas Quilt.

Dee Dee (once she finally arrived!) was doing some drawing for an art quilt.

And then I realized that I hadn't taken a photo of the FRONT of Ella's quilt!

Here's a larger (but blurry) view of it.

Cheryl K. finished her table runner.

Take a look at the cool piped edging!

Linda was working on a Sashiko project.

Ella was hand-quilting her Red and White quilt today.

She's doing a nice job on the quilting!

Ruth S. stitched on her Wool Quilt today.

Joanna added some beads to the sheer overlay during the meeting.

Cheryl K. was cutting for another Autumn Table Runner.  This time she's hoping for one that actually fits her table!  LOL

Joy's hands were busy knitting on her Tubularity (when she wasn't documenting the meeting in pictures.)  It's really hard to take a photo of your own hands while knitting!  I wouldn't recommend it, as you might drop a stitch.

Until next time...
Happy Quilting!!!
